Living a life that is created by the expectations or limitations of others, makes it impossible for you to live life on your own terms. Trying to live life in the box they created is not fulfilling because it is not one you designed for yourself. Basically, you are living someone else’s life. Living Life on Your Own Terms is about having the freedom - the freedom to design the life you desire based on your choices.
In Part 1: Reclaiming Your Life, you took the first step by creating a vision board as a visual representation of how you want your life to look. This allowed you to define all the components that make up living your best life. Now you need a road map to get you from Point A, which is where you are now, to Point B, where you desire to be.
This brings us to step 2: Redefine what is possible. This means you can choose to do or become whatever you like. By creating your escape plan, you will be able to free yourself from the prison of the expectations created by others. This strategic plan of action is what you will need to successfully achieve your academic, professional, and personal goals.
